About

This program provides children with a comprehensive introduction to practical life skills, sensory development, language, math, science, cultural studies, art, music, and movement. Through hands-on activities, children cultivate key skills such as concentration, coordination, independence, and a sense of order, all within a nurturing, child-centered environment. Embracing the Montessori philosophy, the program incorporates a mixed-age setting, with 3- and 4-year-olds learning alongside one another. Offered five days a week, this program ensures consistent growth and exploration, fostering a well-rounded foundation for young learners. Children must be completely independent in the bathroom.

This program can be used in conjunction with Full Day Preschool Enrichment, if space is available. A separate registration is required for that program.

Montessori Preschool runs Monday-Friday 8:30-11:30 AM or 12:00-3:00 PM

Child Development Lab Preschool- Monday, February 3rd, 5:30-7 PM
Child Development Lab at Rockford High School, 4100 Kroes St, Rockford (entrance is around the back of the high school)

All Other Preschool Programs- Tuesday, February 4th, 6-7:30 PM
Administration Building, 350 N. Main St, Rockford (use Community Services Entrance)

Tuition Information

Total tuition: $3900 less $500 registration deposit = $3400
The non-refundable deposit is applied to the total cost of tuition.

Registration Information

Registration for the 2025-26 school year will open on February 19th at 6 PM on Digital Sign Up. A $500 non-refundable deposit will be due at the time of enrollment.

Please follow these steps to register:

Create a user account, if you do not already have one. Complete this step prior to February 19th.
On the day you register, go to Digital Sign Up and search for and select the program in which you'd like to enroll.
Follow on-screen instructions to complete registration.

If the program is full, you can join the waitlist, and you will be contacted if and when an opening occurs.
