Spanish Preschool

About

This blended program is for three and four year-olds. We introduce preschoolers to the Spanish language utilizing hands-on materials, games, songs, read alouds and movement activities. Each month focuses on a different theme for learning Spanish vocabulary, such as colors, numbers, animals, etc. Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1 of the current school year and completely independent in the bathroom. All our staff are trained in CPR and first aid.

This program can be used in conjunction with Full Day Preschool Enrichment, if space is available. A separate registration is required for that program.

Spanish Preschool runs Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:15-11:45 AM or 12:30-3 PM

NOTE: Enrollment in this program DOES NOT guarantee enrollment in the Rockford Public Schools Spanish Immersion program at Roguewood Elementary. Enrollment placement for the district’s program is for Rockford residents and is by a lottery draw only.

Child Development Lab Preschool- Monday, February 3rd, 5:30-7 PM
Child Development Lab at Rockford High School, 4100 Kroes St, Rockford (entrance is around the back of the high school)

All Other Preschool Programs- Tuesday, February 4th, 6-7:30 PM
Administration Building, 350 N. Main St, Rockford (use Community Services Entrance)

Tuition Information

Total Tuition: $1950 less $200 registration deposit = $1750
The non-refundable deposit is applied to the total cost of tuition.

Registration Information

Registration for the 2025-26 school year will open on February 19th at 6 PM on Digital Sign Up. A $200 non-refundable deposit will be due at the time of enrollment.

Please follow these steps to register:

Create a user account, if you do not already have one. Complete this step prior to February 19th.
On the day you register, go to Digital Sign Up and search for and select the program in which you'd like to enroll.
Follow on-screen instructions to complete registration.

If the program is full, you can join the waitlist, and you will be contacted if and when an opening occurs.
